Week #75 Jan. 6, 2020

 Week #75 Jan. 6, 2020

Hey guys how are you!! This week was good, it was a little slower cause some days we werent able to go outside because of new years eve and new years day haha. But seriously i saw some miracles this week.
The beginning of week we werent able to do alot, but new years day we left early to go help some elders who were moving their house. While there, Elder Loucks got his backpack stolen sadly haha, but To help him out a little with his emotional pain, I bought him a piece of oreo cheesecake, which wasnt really real cheesecake, It made me really sad actually haha. But While there we talked to some tourists, they were three girls from Argentina. They asked us what we were doing in Cusco and were surprised when we told them we were missionaries haha. Then after, Elder Loucks and Elder Jellen left for their house and Me and Soto waited for a bus. While there waiting, we were talking and this girl came and sat by us, like really close, and was listening to our conversation. So after we stopped, i said hi and asked her how she was. I right off new she was not from Cusco cause she was tall and white, with reddish hair. Turns out she was from Venezuela! So my comp lightened up and started to talk to her. She said we could come visit her and so were got there a new contact. Later that night we started divisions with the zone leaders. I Wass super excited for it, I legit had done a crazy busy planning for the next day. And Sadly some stuff went down and we had to end them the next day at 12 in the afternoon!!! NOOOOO! I was so disappointed. But for the week we had 2 things we needed to do, look for a new pension and a new house. So we visited a hermana who wanted to be our pension, and she told us she had already been looking into it. AND SHE FOUND US THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!! She found us a house!!! She is wanting to rent a local to have a restaurant, and upstairs is this big house!!! So we gonna live upstairs of the pension!!!! HALLELUJAH! So it got all approved and we are pumped for the next month. In the house we live in now, there are lots of parties and drunk people walking in and out of the house at night haha. So we want out.

This week ill tell you what the title means. The blessings of being prepared. So we had a cita with a lady Last friday, and she dominated the cita and after we were both a little frustrated. We had a cita with her the following friday, That morning I did Some intense studying in the bible and the book of mormon. And when the cita came along and the lady started exploding the room with questions, I was prepared and had been studying so I knew how to respond to every single one of her questions! She totally saw the importance of prayer by the end of the cita and said she would start to read the book of mormon too. There shows you that when a we are prepared and rely on the lord and his help, we can see the miracles that others can feel in understanding and learning. When you teach, and can see that they actually understand, OH that is the best. It was awesome.
And the other part of the Title, I GO HOME THIS YEAR!! Holy cow the time is flying by now!!! Its kinda scary!!!! YOu feel like wow ive been here for awhile, but also want to stay longer!! Now I know how the mission works and its just like frick, I need to stay longer cause I now know how to help the people more!!
GUYS IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT THE MISSION, JUST DO IT. If you are even going for your parents, they know better than you do, the mission is the best thing you will ever do!!! I Have never felt so happy just serving others!!! DO IT!!

I love you all and wish you all the best for the new year.
