Golden Easter Egg Finding

June 26, 2016 email

Cookies work even in tiny little toaster ovens!!
What a beautiful week here in Taiwan. I am just blown away at how dang pretty it is here in Taiwan. Every day is an adventure, you just prep yourself with your trusty bike, a ton of tracts, your BOM, and a sparkly smile and hope for the best!
Last Monday we actually went as a district to Chiang Kai Shek! This was my second time but it was just as fun as the first, if not more! Know why?! Cause we met a whole family from Utah that were there visiting! The mom and dad both served in Taiwan and wanted to bring their kids to check it out! They were the classic utah fam. 6 girls. 1 boy. Blonde hair and blue eyes. It was so fun to talk with them and explore chiang kai shek again.

Chiang Kai Shek Memorial for p-day.
Tuesday was an AWESOME day. We were going on exchanges with our Sister Training leaders, but before we left we had the best district meeting of all time! Elder Sessions shared a story about easter egg hunts when he was little. The goal was too find the 1 golden egg cause usually his Grandma would load it up with like 20$ and awesome candy. Not the gross candy. He referred it back to us finding everyday. We might have to go and talk to 20 gross candy people (those who aren't quite prepared yet) to find the one golden egg! This is so true. If we are not talking to everyone there is no way that we will be able to find that golden egg:)! After district meeting we headed to Yonghe for exchanges! I went with Sister Denison:) She is one of my favorite people. She was Sister Aplsey's trainer and she is just so dang fun and awesome! We had a lesson together with this guy named Zhang DX. He walked into the church with a hot pink polo with one sleeve missing, Zebra gloves, and a knitted head band. :)

He was awesome:)

Let's just say he doesn't have any desire or believe that God can help him..but he was still great!

All of Gods children are precious, especially the ones in Hot pin polo's...;) Oh man he was nuts.:)

Splits with their favorite Sister Trainer Leaders!
The rest of the night we went finding and had a blast! we laughed with everyone and met so many awesome people. I accidentally called us girlfriends, instead of girls to these two guys and we all died laughing forever. It's so fun to be able to laugh with complete strangers. I have a testimony that laughing and the spirit build relationships faster than any thing else! The STL'S actually live with 2 other sisters so that night we just had a massive sleepover! 6 missionaries all in the same room! It was a blast:)
the next morning during studies Sister Denison shared an awesome story with me about when she was in training.
She had just gotten to her area with her trainer and they had an appointment that was in a neighboring town about 30 minutes bike ride away. Sister Denison didn't have her own bike yet, but there was an old missionaries there that she could use. They jumped on the bikes and were on there way. To get to this town they had to go up this massive bridge! Sister Denison said she started up and said it was the hardest thing she had done in her entire life. She was so frustrated! She said she had ridden bikes all the time, was in pretty good shape, and was ready to go! But this hill was kicking her butt. It took her about 3x the amount of time to get up the hill as it did her trainer. A few more days went by and 1 or twice a day they would have to go up this hill. She. was. DYING! She could not figure out why she just couldn't conquer this hill or ride with ease. The next day her trainer asked her if she would lead them to the church that day. Sister Denison agreed and took off, her companion following behind her. They hadn't even gone 20 feet till her trainer yelled at her to stop!! She said, "Sister Denison, Both of your tires are 100 percent flat..."

Finding people to teach in Muzha!
WHAT?! She had been riding on completely empty tires for almost a week! That's why it was so bloody hard to bike around!!!! They went and pumped up her tires and she flew around with ease! The hill became her favorite part, she had the strength to fly up the hill and enjoy the beautiful scenery all around her! At the end of the story she told me that having no air in your tires is like having no faith. Its RIDICULOUSLY hard! And you won't ever be happy and enjoy the scenery! Always have air in your tires and you will never lost or sad. Faith in all things!!.

Thurday was WPS and I made Chocolate chip cookies! Thank you mother for the mix!!!!!!!! It changed our lives;) Just call me Betty Crocker. I gave a few to the Elders and all Elder Sessions said was, "wow!  It really worked!" Then I read him a scripture, "Oh ye of little faith...." We had a good laugh and the cookies were delicious:)

Friday we went finding our guts out! We met so many people from every single walk of life. My favorite by far was the 17 year old boy that we met outside of the internet cafe. He was smoking hard core and blowing it ALL OVER MY FACE. He also had at least 15 hickies on his neck. He wasn't interested, but don't worry. He will be one day;) cause He needs Jesus.

Saturday was a dang busy day! We were temple tour sisters and were absolutely swamped all day! We had tours coming out of our ears! So many people are outside taking pics, walk in, we ask them if they want a tour, and then BAM! The spirit hits them and then they set up to learn more:) Miracles happen everyday! I'm so grateful for the temple and the opportunity we have to be with our families forever! We also treated ourselves to the most delicious pho of my entire life after we were done:) Mom and Dad we will go and get some next year don't worry:)

Family Home Evening with the best ward!
Sunday was so dang fun! we had a YSA FHE with our ward and all of our investigators:) We all ate together and then we taught everyone how to play Signs and tied it in with a spiritual share. I haven't laughed so hard in my whole life! I've met some of my best friends here and am so grateful for the gospel in my life. That's a wrap for this week!!! Love you tons!!!

We Bought A Zoo!!

June 19, 2016 Letter

At the Taipei Zoo
This week was stinking awesome!! I am loving Muzha more and more every single day. Honestly it is absolutely beautiful and I am making the best friends I've ever had in my whole life. I have to bring them all home with me!

Well, to start off the week with a bang we went to the Zoo!! It's in our area so we all just road our bikes:) Bike Gang for the win:) We got to the zoo and I just screamed, "WE BOUGHT A ZOO!" It's what the adorable little girls says in We Bought A Zoo. Except no one has ever seen it in my district...WTH?! All you deprived people! So they laughed at me and by the end of the day Elder Dong couldn't stop saying it too:) It was such a blast! It's the biggest zoo I've ever seen in my whole life! We were there for about 3 hours and only made it about half way through! But it's ok, its literally only 2 american Dollars to go so we will be back for sure:) All the Animals we SO COOL! Elephants, monkeys, snakes, spiders, hippos, pandas, butterflies, kangaroos, camels, emus, zebras, tigers, ets....It was massive! We met some people from the phillipines there and they wanted to take pics with us. Cause we are white. So we did! Everyone wants to take pics with us and it cracks me up!

Tuesday was our first day of Temple Tours!! So here's kind of how it works. You have a scheduled temple tour day. You are there from morning till night. Literally all day. Sometimes there are tour appointments set up, other times there's not. When there's not, you stay within a 5 minute radius of the temple and find! Talk to everyone and convince them to do a tour:) It's awesome.
So we had absolutely NO tours scheduled....oh no!! So we were out finding. all. dang. day. It was pouring rain, we may have got ice cream twice at the 7-11 to rejuvinate ourselves, but we did see a miracle. We met one guy that actually wanted to do a tour. His name is Chen dx! We talked and did a tour and were all touched by the spirit. He knew that what were taught was true and commited to baptism! Then we asked him were he was from, and he said....

Muzha.

What?! Temple tour miracles! The one person we meet actually lives in our area:) Christ is my anchor and if we have faith and are diligent we literally will never fail.
Sister Hughes and a really nice Elder I don't know his name!

The Elder's in Emma's District

Wednesday we we graced with the most amazing zone conference ever. It was all about Pride. Pride and all the different faces it can take! I realized how much I actually struggle with this and need to become more humble dang it! we had multiple trainings, roleplays, costco pizza, and fun with friends (aka fellow missionaries). Mom I realized something this week. It was an epitome I had in stake conference yesterday. Elder Roe is literally the most intense, driven, impressive, on fire, full of the spirit missionary I've ever met in my life. Just thought I would tell you. Cause you're my more and I can tell you random crap. So basically Elder Roe is my hero and I hope i can become as diligent of a missionary as he has been! anyways. back to mission stories.

Thursday was the start of a new kind of mission experience. My companion got SO SICK. Like sicker than a dog. Poor girl, she was coming out both ends for 3 days! She is a trooper. so thursday, friday, and saturday we were home bound. Lets just say I learned A LOT about chinese culture. I know the difference and beliefs of Taoisom, confucionism and buddhism. Buddhism here is very different than the rest of the world. I read A LOT of scriptures. And me and Sister Hughes basically learned EVERYTHING about each other. Like she knows about the Clawson fam 4th of July and how we once were on the news for dressing up like Obama and being scantily clad women...she knows it all!!!!! I'm pretty sure she wanted to kill me by the end of this week. hahaha:) I sang to her, told her stories, the whole plot of Mary Poppins, the whole shabang! we were both losing it staying inside! The good news is is that she's better and that Sunday was fantastic!
Elephants at the Taipei Zoo

The Tourists.

Sunday was Stake conference and our beloved Ji Pei De was able to come with us!!!! He works all the time but was able to came with us:) KNow why? BECAUSE HE PRAYED FOR HELP AND GOD ANSWERS ALL OF OUR PRAYERS, THATS WHY! His testimony has grown so much and he's made the biggest changes in his life. Stake conference was the biggest blessing. They had a mens choir that was absolutely fantastic! It had so many of our ward members in it so it was a blast to watch them. I was overcome by the spirit while they were singing and just really realized how much I love these people. I never thought I could love the people in Taiwan, but the have my whole heart. I know that Heavenly Father sends us the the places that we are supposed to go and that if we put our trust in him he can help us change the desires of our hearts. Till next time folks! love you all so much.

Muzha Miracles!

She got her first Mango Bing this week.  It was life changing!  The dollop of stuff on the top is Panna Cotta she said.
Delish!
What an awesome week!! Chuck full of miracles. In the Taiwan Taipei mission we are asked to look for miracles everyday. It's the best! Keeps us all looking out for the tender mercies everyday! To start off the week I finally had my first mango shaved ice! and man...
It changed my life. Mom. They are so DANG good!!!

Monday night we got a call from the Mission home saying that the next day we had to go check out a new apartment that we might be moving into. Our apartment right now is being sold!! We are so sad because it is so nice;( But it also doesn't have AC...so secretely we are kinda excited to leave too...;)

Em lives very close to the Taipei Zoo.  Emma's Aunt Jenny said the zoo is great, and one of the most interesting animals there is a regular old dairy cow!  I guess they don't have many of those in Taiwan:)
But anyways! Tuesday rolls around and we pull out our handy map and find this apartment and set up an appointment with the land lord. She was SUPER late so we went and contacted everyone that lived around the neighborhood. Once she finally showed up, we went on our tour! It lasted about 5 minutes... HOLY CRAP THAT PLACE WAS THE WORST!

It was the scariest apartment I've ever seen in my life. We made a swift call to the mission home and told them to keep looking;) To make tuesday even more weird, we had a dinner appointment with a family from our ward. we got to their house and then I saw once of the scariest sites of my life...at least 7 people of all ages surrounding a roasted chicken ripping it to shreds with their bare hands....hunger games style. That was our dinner appointment.. hhahahhaha it was so funny. We ate what we could here and there, thanked them, and were on our way with the Elders. It was so fun:)
To top of Tuesday night we went contacting and met the coolest guy. The spirit was so strong and his prayer was amazing. My companion was bearing the most powerful testimony when all of a sudden behind her head was the biggest spider coming down from the tree. AGH! I couldn't help it...I squealed and slapped it out of the air and murdered that thing!

spirit gone.

hahah not really. It was a great bonding moment for us all:)
Taiwan is a crazy place. They've got some pretty killer bugs here. As big as your face kids.

Emma and Sister Hughes on the streets of MuZha.  And they found CREPES!  Reminds me a little of Jed's mission in Albania:)
Since there are only 4 of us missionaries in our area, we all have our own individual english class! It's so fun! I'm the intermediate teacher!! I swear english class is always so great. The students are so willing and ready to learn everything. I'm more serious now with my lessons and make sure that they actually learn valuable stuff.. but don't worry. WE still have a party;) This week we are learning how to ask for a job:)

We are also so lucky to live in  Taipei because now we get to help with Temple Tours! A few times a transfer we go and take everyone on temple tours! our first one is tomorrow so I will let you all know how it goes:)

Melvin's baptism!
This week we saw one of the greatest miracles of all time.
MELVIN GOT BAPTIZED!

Melvin is the most adorable 16 year old boy in the world. That went A-wall the week before his baptism!!!! We had been trying to get a hold of him for days and days with no response. We were literally pooping our pants every single night....then, thursday night, he called us back, and said he still wanted to be baptized. :) HALLELUJAH! Melvin! It was such a fun and special baptism. This gospel changed lives and touches hearts:)

Sunday was such a fun day. Our ward once a month has a day completely dedicated to missionary work. so sunday from 2-5 they come contacting with us, then 5-6 we all eat dinner and then 6-7 is a missionary devotional. WOW. Oh my goodness! Our ward has the most amazing member missionaries I have ever seen:) My companion for the day was Liu JM. She is a tall, beautiful, 60 year old asian woman:) She KILLED IT! she had 0 fear and wanted to pray with everyone! She did so dang great. It's incredible how big of a desire our ward has to tell ABSOLUTELY everyone about this beautiful gospel. They are family. I'm so grateful to be here in Taiwan and especially here in Muzha:)

Pray we can find the prepared:) I love you so dang much!!! This church is true:)

Zhongli I Love You!

Sister Clawson and her new companion Sister Hughes!

🔥🔥🔥
Holy Cats!!! this week was nuts! I know I say every week is the craziest week of my life...but it's true. Ever week just gets crazier and crazier!!
We will start with last monday! PDAY! We went on the coolest hike in the outskirts of...somewhere...I don't even know where we went! but it was amazing! Taiwan is so beautiful. And weird. So we are going on this hike, in the mountains, and we get to the half way mark and what do we see? A karaoke bar! What?! People apparently just go on this hike so they can do karaoke...:) We finally got up to the top and took some AMAZING pics!! it was so dang pretty! Then to finish off we strung up my hammock and everyone had to give it a try:) They loved it:)

After our hike we had to book it back home cause we had a member who was feeding us and the Elders at 6;30! She lived in Neili which is about a 20 minute ride from our house, and we still had to change!!!!!!!!!! Stress levels were high..We hustled our buns, changed, and took to the roads of Zhongli. About half way to our members house I hear a POP! Elder Magness's bike tire had popped!!! Oh man oh man oh man!

Then.

I pulled out my handy bike bag.

Completely changed out his tube.

Cleaned it up.

put it back on his bike.

Pumped it up with my CO2 pump.

Winked.     (not really..:) )

Jumped back on our bikes and made it to dinner right at 6:30:)
It took me 3 minutes to change his tire... DAD!!!!!!!! I'M THE COOLEST DAUGHTER IN THE WORLD! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO CHANGE MY BIKE TIRES!!!!!❤❤❤❤
All Elder Magness could say was, "Dang Gina! That was the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

Heck yes:)

Working their tails off in Muzha!!
The next Day we had Zone meeting in Taoyuan! It was all about FEAR. So dang good!! We talked about how fear is not of God and what we can all do to overcome fear! so awesome! So grateful for awesome leaders!!!

Wednesday. sitting in our apartment studying, waiting for our text message that says who my new companion is.... ding ding!

oh snap.

I'm not in Zhongli anymore.....
I got MOVED!!!!!! To Muzha!!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP TALK ABOUT THE SURPRISE OF A LIFETIME!! so i jumped on the train the next morning, left my beloved Zhongli, met my new comp sister Hughes (who is so dang awesome!) and got to work! We are whitewashing Muzha!...so neither of us have been here before! She is a transfer older than me so we are both so fresh!! We have seen so many miracles and gotten so much work done!!

but before I talk about Muzha we gotta reminisce about Zhongli:)
Our last night in zhongli was so dang awesome. We sent out a huge text saying that we were all leaving!!!!!!!! Because literally everyone moved...only 2 people out of the 6 stayed!!
A few of our Favorite RC's (recent converts) and Ward members came to the church after english class and sang and bore testimony and gave us gifts! Like, it was a little nuts..They really really actually loved us so dang much! The hardest was saying bye to Ruby the cute RC that would come contacting with us, and Sister Lin:( WE were all cryin like babies! I wasn't prepared to leave at all!! The next morning we were off! All the Elders met us at the Station, along with peter our ward mission leader so say bye. They are some of the greatest friends ever! Missions change so many lives and you make so many life long friends!
Zhongli I love you!

MUZHA!!!!! I'm in Taipei! You can see Taipei 101 from my house:) And this is such a beautiful place. We are in the city, but then the JUNGLE is literally surrounding us! So dang Cool! We are about a 10 minute bike ride from the zoo so that is exciting:) Since we are both new hear we have been contacting our GUTS out and exploring this place! It's crazy. Saturday we had a baptism with the Elders and it was incredible.

The spirit was so strong.

The ward is so incredible. They are all about missionary work! The testimonies were amazing, and we sang at least 67 hymns at the top of our lungs together. Everyone was crying by the end! the church is so dang true!!!!!!!!!!!

Muzha is such a special place.
I've never felt so welcome in my whole life. Heavenly Father has definitely prepared us, these members, and the people in Muzha.
I love you fam!!!!!!!!!

I Love You, I Wanna Love You Tender Taiwan!

May 29, 2016 email

Cut girls!
Whooo!!!! What a killer week! the weather here is absolutely ridiculous. One day its basically a typhoon and then the next is hotter than sin!!!!
It's so dang fun:)This week was full of so many dang crazy adventures. But first things first.
IM DONE WITH TRAINING!! Wow. that flew by. I'll get my new comp on thursday. I don't know who she is..but I'm pumped. Sister Komatsu is all finished and has been giving me the last advice and wisdom of a dying missionary. I'm so grateful for everything she has taught me!!!
ok. now for a crazy story.

Street life in Zhongli.
It's like 7pm and we are biking to Longgan to go finding when all of a sudden we just hear this blood curdling screaming. Oh man. Someone just died on their scooter in the street.......But no! The screaming kept going and I realized it was a dog. Someone NAILED this small dog in the street and it was screaming its guts out! literally...I booked it as fast as I could cause I didn't want to see anything that would give me nightmares.. But then I looked back and My companion was in the middle of the street with some lady pulling this dog to safety!!!! Oh my heck they are so brave! I'm biking away and these 2 are being heros! So I biked back slowly and hellped them save the poor dog. It was the worst. I hated it.

then we went to the church for a sec to regroup ourselves. Taiwan is nuts!

English class!!
The next day we got to go to Taipei to be in a new video the mission home is making for our english class!!! So much dang fun:) I'm gonna be famous mom! haha just kidding:)
Our investigators are all doing so dang awesome. It's crazy how different everyone's learning pace is. but they are all so fantastic. :)
Sister K.'s last Sunday:)  She is headed home this week.  And we just found out last night that it was Emma's last Sunday in Zhongli as well.  She is headed to Macha today.  She is REALLY going to miss all the people she loves in Zhongli.
We had a miracle last night!! So one of our investigators, Zeng jm, She is 15 years old and has had all the lessons from past missionaries and is meeting with us now too, she wants to be baptized but says her dad won't let her! We've all been praying and praying for him. We asked her if we could come over to meet him, but she's just too dang scared. So last night we were meeting with her at the 7-11 and who just happened to show up for a drink? HER DAD! She saw him pull up and almost burst into tears she was so scared! We walked up to him and introduced ourselves and got to know him:) It was amazing to talk to him. He will let her be baptized!!!! Heavenly Father is the greatest:)

"All the public restrooms are squatters.  Good thing I've been camping in the woods a lot!"  emma clawson

Pot Sticker Tender Mercy

 May 22, 2016 email
They're lost, but still smiling!
OK. I promise my life is super exciting and this week was the greatest...!!!!! It was just so dang busy I forgot to write down everything awesome we did... I know. I am repenting. Forgive me!

A cool story to start off the week. Last Monday night a member took us out to dinner at a neat steak house! American food..sometimes members think we hate tiawanese food so they take us to american. But Hey! It's free food! I ain't complaining!
But anyways...I was eating my delicious steak and our members son started choking. They all started slapping the crap out of his back but nothing! He started to turn blue and I thought I was gonna have to leap over the table and do the Himlich! or however you spell it..But then after one hard slap to the back he threw up pretty much the whole steak. SCARY! "Chew your food you're an animal!" -Matilda

These are the Tender Mercy Potstickers.
Tuesday we went out on exchanges and got SO lost. so we walked around and finally found our way to their house at like 7pm...hahaha oh man! But the Lord blessed us with a tender mercy and we found our favorite spot to eat for dinner. The Lord is so aware of all of us and our challenges! Even when we are just super hungry and lost. We were so hungry but didn't know where we were or what to eat! So what do we do? Pray. :) the lord guided us down several different paths but the whisperings of the Holy Ghost saved the day. As we turned an ally corner there it was. Our favorite pot sticker shop!. Wow. We died laughing and said a very intense prayer of thanks. Nothing short of a Pot Sticker Tender Mercy I tell ya!
Exchanges went good. Sister Pendergrass was super sick..so I was actually a secretary for a day writing down all their records while she slept. :)

These are the LOST faces.
English class was so great this week! We were blessed to get 4 new investigators from it!!! So great. It's because I teach them slang and they love it...:)

this was my class warm up lesson this week...

Rad, Gnarly, Sick, Killer, Out of Sight, Daaang

What do all these words have in common??
they all mean something is "super cool!"

They loved it

;)

Don't worry. We teach them real stuff too:)

We had so many new investigators that we met with this week! It's funny how different all people are and how they are all on such different learning levels. They all have a different sized cup to fill! And we have this massive pitcher of Knowledge and have to tailor it perfectly to their cup size:) We had so many Restoration lessons prepared to teach but only taught it 2 times, because some of the other investigators just weren't quite ready for all that INFORMATION quite yet!

WE had so many miracles this week. One of our engish students, Tony, met with us for the first time. We shared with him the first lesson and he asked us how he could get a testimony of what we were teaching.. What?! Know one asks us this ever?! He has the strongest desire to really know the truth of what we are teaching. SO DANG COOL! then he asked all of us to share our experience of how we got our testimony of the gospel. The spirit was so strong as we all shared our stories. He was so excited about how different all our answers were and is ready to learn how he can build his own as well. The Lord puts the prepared in our path:)

I'm impressed with the organization!
some fun tidbits from the week.

-if people have diarreah, they will cancel meetings
-I found the coolest resturant in all the world. I have so many pics. Hot pot buffet. Even cooler than Mauna Kea mom! It changed my life. Me and Elder Magness were freaking out.. (He gets excited about food too. haha)
-Recent Converts are the best missionaries. We went out with 2 of them this week and they killed it!
-I've never gotten so wet in my whole life as I did last night. Instantly soaked on my bike within 5 seconds:)
-Scriptures answer the questions of the soul! Everyone read Jacob 2:8
Taiwan you're something else.

Team Sweaty!

It rained buckets!  Emma in front of the Taipei Taiwan Temple
This week was absolutely fantastic!!! Me and Sister Komatsu have been finding for days and days for solid investigators. One night this week we were losing our minds we were so exhausted from finding so we took a 5 minute break and biked around in circles chasing each other.....It was so stupid funny....we were dying laughing our heads off! We've been trying to find the little moments to stop and laugh to keep us sane in the hot sun of Taiwan. The other night we were in bed and got talking about our favorite Disney, Dreamworks, and Pixar movies. We Laughed our guts out talking about how we both cried in Toy Story 3, and how the 2 potato bugs in a Bugs Life are the best:) ah man.. pray for our sanity;) Our district leader gave some of the best advice at district meeting this week. "If you need to take a 15 minute Cocos Mango Bing break, DO IT." He's the best. It's been getting bloody hot this week! But then this morning we woke up and it's basically a Typhoon outside. Taiwan weather baby. Un. Pre. Dictable!  (that was a movie quote by Vector from Dispicable Me..:))

A man fishing outside Emma's apartment in Zhongli.  Looks like a good day fishing!

Taipei Taiwan Temple in downtown Taipei.
Dad! You are going to be so proud of me! This week we had an FHE (family home evening) with my Taiwanese Mom and her family:) Lin Jiating! She is so wonderful, her husband isn't a member but she's got two sons serving in taichung That are helping soften up that guys heart:) But anyways, I did that Rocks, pebbles, sand, and a cup of hot chocolate all in the bottle thing! You know where you have so little time and all these duties (the rocks, pebbles, and sand) but you always have time for a cup of hot chocolate with a friend! man. It was awesome. Super hard in chinese but they loved it! I referred it to the Gospel and it went super duper good:) Thanks dad:) They loved it so much that they even gave me a chinese name:) Ke ai jie mei. it means I'm loving and stuff, I can't remember it all but it's still sick!

This week I ate another whole pineapple...but mangos are in season now...and they changed my life. SO DANG GOOD!!!!!!!! I didn't really like mangos in america but they are to die for here!!

Ok here's a few fun tidbits from the week. We've been meeting with all of our LA's and RC's trying to get some new investigators and it's just been awesome to watch their personal testimonies grow as they have a desire to share with their friends. AGh! so neat:)

Emma LOVES that she gets to ride a bike everywhere!!

Sister Komatsu and Sister Clawson
Our english class cracks me up. They always have the most ridiculous questions that I have no idea how to answer...Like whats the difference between a Cinema and a Theater? WTH! i DON'T KNOW! edit the wth please mom...that was for my fams eyes only;)(Sorry I had to keep that part in.  It is so Emma:)

I also had my very first earthquake this week! It was nuts! We were studying, and then it felt like I was in the ocean and everything was swaying....SO COOL!!! About 5 minutes after my favorite RC Kevin called us and yelled, "ARe you OK?!" He's the best.

We have 3 wonderful new investigators this week that we were able to meet with again:)
Willy:) He is awesome. He is a 23 year old guy that is going through intense schooling to be a baker. We have lots to talk about:)He also told me that beer is his life...pray for him:)

Fruit and veggies are AWESOME in Taiwan!!  And pretty cheap:)
Guo JM:) This lady is awesome! She is absolutely crazy;) We went to her house to meet with her and she showed us all the cool inventions she's made in her house. She reminds me of Seth, constantly building things! We shared with her The Because he Lives message on youtube and the part where Jesus shows up at the end she gasped and said in chinese, "Wow! He's so Handsome! I want to get to know this guy!" hahahhaah we couldn't help but laugh. Everyone thinks he's so handsome;)

Peter:) Oh my gosh. What a miracle. I was unlocking my bike outside of the church and saw him walk past and ran up and talked to him. He's 18 Years old and is getting ready to start college in a few months! We totally hit it off and he set a baptismal date on the street with us:) We met with him a few days later and got to know him more and shared with him The Restoration. He was so excited to try praying at the end. AGH! I just love him so much he is the cutest person in the Entire world!! He's the biggest sweetheart.
I love people so much. They are seriously the coolest:)

The past 3 days some weirdo has been putting bike locks around our church gate so we can't get in. Loser. Bless their heart:) He just doesn't know that we have WU DX! The manliest man in the world who has an electric saw and cuts it for us everyday:) He's the best.

Sister Clawson, Sister Komatsu and Ruby their favorite friend:)  Thanks Ruby for loving these girls!!
